Does anyone know where I can purchase thai ingredients online? I'm also looking for tom yam paste, not sure what it is and where to find it. I've tried thai4uk.com and they don't seem to have it.

Thanks

Jill D

There aren't any asian shops where I live. I usually order most of my ingredients online but the shop I order from isn't that great.

I don't know where you are Jill but there's a Thai supermarket in Guildford that has all you could possibly want. They sell Tom Yam paste in little sachets for 37p.
If Guildford is accesible for you let me know and I'll tell you how to find the shop.

Hi

Thanks for all the info guys. I live out in Darlington, County Durham. Will definitely have a look at all the abovementioned websites.

You could always make your won, the trouble is you would probably have trouble getting the ingredients. Could you get kaffir lime leaves, galangal, thai fish sauce (nam pla) and lemon grass. If you can I can give you a recipe that I have used, it is probably not exactly the same but I did base it on what the ingredients were on the packet.

I get a lot of spices from www.thespiceoflife.co.uk and you get free postage and they are very reliable.
