Hi bhavesh,

mine was very fresh, really, it was just bluish-grey and so were all the bathches I bought around that period. I know it wasn't caused by not being fresh but good advice though, thank you.

Hi Sonia,

I posted about this just a few weeks ago. I bought some that looked normal on the outside but bluish grey on the inside. It spelt and looked just fine so I posted and was given good advice on here to go ahead and use it. As it was my instinct from the look of it to do so, I did and it tasted just the same. A few weeks on and I'm still around to post, so no ill effects here either.

Welcome to the boards CradleM,

I love Thai Food but also Chinese. You Aussies have the wonderful Kylie Kwong to learn from. I was so pleased when UK food brought her show over her. I have her book, she's fab too like Mini C.

Hi Chef de Maison,

Well since you so kindly ask my opinion, this is how I would suggest it went.

Go to the special occassions thread and then head stuff like the eating out thread. On there we are supposed to say "Eating out in Essex" then write our post.

So we could say, Halloween Celebrations... blah blah etc etc then write our post.

Or Planning a Hen Night ..... blah blah etc etc

But I will be happy whatever the format as it will be handy for exchanging ideas.

Sorry, but I have to put another vote in for the dreadful deck dates. I don't think we can single James out though as the only good thing on it, after all, he read the format and still went for it, how stupid is that?

No, it's thumbs down for James and the programme.

At@IT SORRY. I MEAN SORRY ISN'T THE WORD, DON'T DRINK RED WINE. No I am sorry, just got a little horrified there that someone doesn't drink red wine. I feel good in that I drink it for you.

Who knows my sweet, if you don't have a particular meat that goes well etc, then you should please yourself. I beleive in drinking what I like and not whats supposed to be right.

Hi Helen's mum

I do have an agent but she was never paid and never got me any work, but we had great drinking sessions for meetings and really excellent parties, so the job could be up for grabs. Will need to see your CV and how much alcahol you can consume, but other than that, when can you start. Go first and place an order with the fabulous www.relishthecontinental.co.uk and experience my sweet chilli relish and we can take it from there.

As for Hmmmm! A Cafe. Do you think I need to open a cafe?
Is this an omen!!!!!!

FRONT PAGE relish, was just checking to see if you had eaten and now it seems you have actually eaten the entire batch. Tee hee. Breathing fire now then, sweetie.

And Nick, come on, you know I love you, but I have always been fickle, I tell em all I love em and call em all darling, don't tell me no one has noticed Roll Eyes

As for Brazen-faced, renowned slush, well what can I say, I can only do anagrams with a couple of letters so I won't even try to better that one.

He is brazen faced though, and well slushy in a georgous way and well, no one can deny he is remowned. So why hasn't he told me he likes my chilli relish, huh?

Hi Nick,

I only have eyes for you, but my lips are for Ross Develish and I would love to be sending Ross big kisses but alas, he is not on often enough.

I did see the ready steady cook on Friday though Georgie, I think it was the best episode I have ever seen. You could see that AWT, Ross and Ainsley were really having a laugh and enjoying their cooking.

Gosh relish, you gotta eat, have a spoonful of my chilli relish, that will bring your taste buds alive again.

Did you like my chilli relish kiwichef? You can be perfectly honest (as long as you liked it) otherwise just lie.

Welcome to the boards bananarama,

Try using plenty of vegetables, oily fish and leaner cuts of meat. Cut down on salt, sugar and fats. The fresher the ingredients the better, they contain more of their minerals and vitamins when fresh.

Let us know if you need anything more specific and how you are getting on with your course. Smile

That sounds nice spammy, but gcalmske, a teaspoon of dijon mustard and a grating of fresh nutmeg will transform any sauce dish.

It's nice to see a new heading added to the list but I just thought I'd say that I am surprised it's not called "Special Occassions" or something similar. We would then be able to use the thread to it's fullest all year round. We could post about Christmas, Valentines menus, ideas on what to do for our Parents on Mothers and Fathers Day, Easter recipes etc. People could ask and suggest things they are doing for a special birthday or an engagement party. They could ask or give suggestions on the food, the decor, pressie ideas for Weddings and all sorts.

Just a thought. Smile

well then try Nisbett again, they do charge for delivery for orders under £75 but I think it is under £5 so still better than the £9. You never know kromusdomus, you may even see other things you fancy when you go and look at their website.
