Thank you Barshedale for that kind coment as I am trying, that's the reason for our stay here. You may be also confused by posts by Sylvie, my wife or Sophie who also post here and their English is not the same. I am Martin and we are all enjoying so much the food programming as there is not much where we are from. We are not liking the Market Kithcen show but are eagerly awaiting to see the new China food show with Gary Rhodes! We hardly watch any other TV!

But I AM enjoying much programming since starting to watch! That is not the point. My comment was only that this Market programme is so very bad. It's not like the other enjoyable shows they are now giving us. Who is responsible for giving us this market show? It is horrible. I don't think that there really is anthing more than what they are showing, isn't it?? Nerve hitting thoughts or not! Eek Eek

PS what is said to be an oxymoron??? Is this a comment on the market jardin???

Exactly this is what I'm have been trying to say to those that can help us!!! It is hard to conceive of a programme that could be worse! Market Garden is simply horrible, there's not any other wording for this thing. There is not even any garden in the show!

Could not they prevent this show from being on the TV? Why can't they help us??? Eek Eek Eek

This is not a channel I'm watching much anymore. I think I have seen everything being shown and I find the Market Kitchen show to be horrible.

I wish they could help us by making it better Eek

Vyvian I am in complete concordance with your viewpoint. I am not liking this show at all. In my eyes, it is horrible. It isn't making me want to cook.

I am obliged to say that this show is horrible.

Why are they not making the recettes that we can all make and enjoy at home? We are not all chefs de cuisine here in front of the TV.

Help us please! Eek

Can anyone tell me when this Food Poker is on. I am searching the UKTVFood agenda and cannot see it shown anywhere!?

I agree much with you on this waynet. I have not much experience with GFL, but the food and dishes from the show on this website are very good.

The Market Kitchen dishes are uninspriing, to say the least. Not good food at all.

I am thanking you for those informations rosti, but the ingredient sounds so scientifique? I have done the marketing now for thirty years in our village and have never seen or heard of this chervil root.

I am confused too about the taste? You suggest mint mix above yet your informations say it tastes of chestnut (marron??) Seems too different to me.

I am thinking not Gordon Ramsey's choice? [link] It seems so "Sunday Lunch", isn't it?

Arthur below is suggesting turkey as the last meal. But I prefer something that would be a climax, perhaps something never tasted before?

I am thinking that hobmaster has put it down well. All those points are valid but made worse by some of the hosts of the show, isn't it?

Have I not seen this Diana? When does one see her?

Help us watch the show! Eek

I am not understanding this point about French markets as "chervil root" is not to be spoken of here?

The French are not obliged to use this ingredient at all. Why "French"?

I am now thinking that this is fixed? This week the noise in your cafe was much less annoying than earlier. I could hear the words spoken.

Thank you.

I'm still not understanding though the purpose of your cafe?

Oh, I am not liking this squirrel thought very much. It is not unknown here though, a recette is given here [link]

Very important to get organs out though.

Why are they showing these things to us? It is not helping us with cooking.

It's an amazing site this barnett.com, isn't it? I am not imagining having the observational power to write about the day the way she does. She is making even the most simple occurence something worth reading about.

I just adore it.

Yes, I too am not liking this Mathew Albright person. He seems not to suit.

I am still thinking that the Market Kitchen is the worst programme on UKTVFood canal. More so than Gary Rhodes India show because this was just a short series of shows where Market Kitchen is on every day.

Market Kitchen just keeps getting on the air over and over again so this is my worst show.

Thank you reedw I thought that it could not be that. Then why is it done, it does not make sense to my viewing?

And the recettes are so uninspirational, aren't they? They are too simple and at times too hard to get the ingredients.

I would like them to fix this programme, please!

I also hate the viewing of the programme. It is put on just when I want to watch the cooking type shows so it spoils the evening. They oblige me to switch the channel.

If it is not to change, could they please help us change the time of the programme to improve?

Thank you.

No, I think the programme must be changed for the viewers to get bigger. It is one of the most boring shows I can see on this channel now.

Why do they show this in its current form? I think we can all do better than this!!

Excuse my English but I think I understand Liz0 sarcasm. The show has no life, isn't it? No one ever laughs and the smiles even seem forced.

It is all too serious for me, I feel tired as I watch the showing. How are these persons picked anyway, they don't seem to fit the idea of the show?

But Liz, I donut think that is a real cafe.
