Thanks Falafel, I thought maybe I was just being a grumpy old man!
I am somewhat taken aback that for once someone actually agrees with me.
Perhaps it is being a little naive to think thank Jenny and GFL will ever return but surely there must be something better out there than MK.
Will someone at UKFOOD please take note of viewers feedback!!!!!

I haven't watched MK since about the third show when I decided that it really had little hope of improving.
Today I looked at the the various e-mails which I last looked at in APRIL and it seems that I was right and little or nothing has improved.
How can anything so bad which is continually criticised by the viewing public survive for so long?
I will check the e-mails again in another six months to see if I can find any positive comments and maybe just maybe I will grit my teeth and watch an episode myself on the off chance that the e-mails of the last six months have been WRONG.

Well I have decided to try watching MK again this evening for at least five minutes anyway. I do hope Matt and Tana try and appear as if they are getting along as last night the atmoshere seemed a little tense to say the least.
As for the audience they should try and look as if they are NOT in a dentists waiting room with fillings to look forward to, and please I do not wish to hear how to cook food for children anybodys children or how to hide the veggies under the little fishies.

Market Kitchen extra has just started on the food channel.
If you couldnt believe your eyes the first time around watch it again.

Jenni may appear to be as Knocker2 describes, but she is a performer.
GFL was interesting and informative but at the end of the day Jenni gave it life, wit, sparkle,fun and made it one of if not the most popular food programme on TV.
During the last programme not only Jenni was upset but many of the great characters who had worked on the show with her and made it what it was GREAT.

Is there anyone out there who can say anything good about Market Kitchen,it was complete rubbish compared to GFL.
If we cannot have GFL back can we at least have something with a bit of "sparkle" to it so we do not die of boredom.

What have you done. This new programme is awful.
Matt Tebutt is doing his best but there seems to be no chemistry between him and co-presenter Tana Ramsay, do they even like each other.
Please wake up smell the coffee and bring back the programme that everyone loved GOOD FOOD LIVE.
Jenni Barnett was a great presenter and Good Food Live as well as being interesting and informative was also lively and humorous, I am afraid Market Kitchen is just plain boring.
