I find them different yes, but remember all the others have been doing it for 15 years, unless we all give new blood a chance we will be stuck with all the old ones forever which is neither helpful nor constructive
Posting some my dishes we serve here would bear absolutely no relevance to the discussion of Market Kitchen
As I said beofre I'm not here to anoy nor upset anyone I'm just sick of all the "I'm never watching it again" only for a few days later to see the same names spouting their usual bunch of verbal diaharreah.
If you didn't like the Spice Girls you wouldn't buy one of thier records would you - same goes for watching a TV programme, don't like don't watch as all you experst have said before if the ratings are rubbish then they will pull it !

not ruffled at all
as I said before I post totally on a free will and am nothing whatsoever to do with Market Kitchen or it's production company - I just love fresh food well cooked, nothing more and nothing less
The likes of all the old has been chefs who milked all their value a long time ago have had their chance - time for new blood and new talent - how about the likes of Jonathan Jones at the Anchor and Hope, Anthony Demnetre at Arbutus and getting some of the real chefs back from the Eighties who were true pioneers of what we eat today
Pocket Rattleshake it takes more than a few words to ruffle me

It's the produce they use not the recipe that counts - ooo yeah Chianti is really upmarket isn't it

I can assure you know, I post on a totally free will but like many of you, I also watched GFL but am glad of something new with produce that is fresh and seasonal than the same old stuff just rehashed
Quite honestly the Jeni brigade would be more at home at a Harvester and that level of catering not 2 Michelin stars ! I would rather have Hannibal Lecter than you lot

Here here Barshedale glad to see that you and Rosti have the right idea - it's like the school kids who have been deprived of their favourite jelly - simply pathetic
Mabe uktv should release each separate program of GLF onto a dvd hence making millions out of all the Jenni fans !!!

Scaly
I neither want to upset nor annoy anyone but I'm sorry this rediculous thing about bring back jenni is just becoming irritating to read - we can all see you want her back but you need to give this program a chance. When a program starts it will always have faults and high points just like when a restaurant opens they have great dishes and really bad dishes which in time come off and are replaced with better things. i like this program one because I run a very busy upmarket restaurant which uses ingredients which i see on the show and being cooked by the likes of Matt Tebbutt ( of which I am no relative and I am nothing to do with MK) but it's refreshing to see a new face on the telly with some great new ideas
I don't watch Dr Who because I don't like it and I wouldn't go and moan on their forum because I can't back it up - all I'm saying is that if you don't like someting don't watch it - I thankfully do not need any personal advice thank you scalywitch ( which seems apt ). I'm not trying to halt anyone's view at all but everyone is saying they are not going to watch again and all of you do - the only thing that Jenni knew how to do well was EAT !

Trust me The Millenium hasn't been full one day since opening
His cooking is bland and unimaginative - impeccable i wouldn't say

Gluck
If you care to read The Times supplement magazine today you will see a review ( from one of the most highly rated food critics) of Matt Tebbutt's restaurant and judging by the review he is far from from a B list chef
If the likes of Brian Turner who seems to have a consistently empty restaurant in Grosvenor Square and Ainsly Harriet who doesn't even cook in a restaurant float your boat, I suggest all you people who moan about not having them and your beloved Jenni go start a production company and make your own version of GFL - if you don't like MK don't flippin well watch it and what's more dont come on here and blurt the fact you are never watching it again only for a few days later to see another post saying " where's my Jenni and GFL" GROW UP

MK is using fresh seasonal ingredients ( remember not all people are experienced cooks ) and whether it be cooked by Tana or Sarge you can take your pick of how you would like to try the dish
Matt's fennel & blood orange salad the other day was lovely and so simple to do, so sometimes it's just the initial ideas that are good and teach novices the basics
I would say you need to give it a chance and for MK to find it's feet - also it's great to see some new faces instead of the likes of Brian Turner etc etc

Scalywitch
If it was a new restaurant, I would give it the benefit of the doubt and return for a further visit when it had been established a bit more than 2 days !
Running a restaurant myself, I know that things don't always go to plan when you first open and 99 times out of a 100 things go wrong only to be rectified when they have been going a bit longer than a week
If you don't want to watch it don't !

I agree
All these people who have said I'm never watching it again seems to have watched the entire weeks worth - if you think it's rubbish don't watch it , if you like it do, but please stop all this immature rantings of bring back Jenny etc she might have been a good presenter but she knew diddly squat about food
Move on, look forward and don't dwell in the past - I, for one, will be watching Market Kitchen again and again

I'm not sure if you can sum up a program after 3 shows - you have to at least let it run a couple of weeks to form a valid opinion
I can't believe that there so many narrow minded people posting that hate it after watching it for ten minutes - it just doesn't seem fair not to even give them a chance.
Good luck to them and I, for one, will carry on watching it and see it grow into a program worth watching - patience is a virtue

I thought it was good, I think you should all give it a chance - it's refreshing to see 2 new presenters instead of the tired old usuals - and for me Jenny would make me turn the telly off she was so irritating

I reckon you should give it a chance, it was only the first one and I'm sure like most people who start a new job, nerves are always going to be there until they all feel relaxed infront of the camera
I bet you all start warming to one or other of them and begin watching on a regular basis

to see two new new people on the telly one professional, and one housewife
fish pie here I come, I preferred Tana's one but a great start to a new programme - and how friendly ( Tebbutt clearly knows what he is talking about ) are the two presenters - great telly thank you
