What an absolutely dire programme - yet it continues !

Can someone from the production team respond to all the postings regarding this excuse for a food programme ?
There must be something we are not understanding ...

The concept, the layout, the presenters are hopeless - please get rid of the programme !!

The programme is dire and must be taken off the air.

I would really appreciate a response from a responsible person within the MK production Team regarding the postings on this thread.

Surely they MUST have some feelings regarding the comments made and would therefore welcome an opportunity to defend their decisions to air such a dire programme.

I`ve eventually come to the conclusion that the whole MK Team are a set of Numpties !!

A question - Is this new Northern Irish female presenter the MK programmers version of our Jenni ?
Think about it - she`s a similar size, colouring, age and talks a lot !!

Why oh why is Mrs Ramsey even on the show with the new presenter - Get Mrs R OFF the show.

Me thinks the show could now get a little better.

Get this excuse for a programme OFF the air - and please get rid of Mrs Ramsey off all other programmes !
She is wooden with zero personality !

I cannot understand your reasoning.
There is no comparison between MK and GFL.
GFL was far superior in EVERY way.
Perhaps you are related to the Ramseys ???

It would be interesting to get a response to this thread from Mrs Ramsey to try and understand WHY on earth she puts herself through, what must be, agony for herself.
She certainly doesn`t feel very comfortable attempting to present the programme.

GLForever - The answer to your question has been provided over the past months many times - The Production Team and Presenters are a complete waste of space !!!
They have the unique ability of ruining everything they attempt to do.
The sooner the programme is cancelled the better for those of us who are interested in and are passionate about good food.

Flora - I agree with other posters that your posting is well constructed.
However I just cannoy agree with some of your opinions - in particular that Parker Bowles is a "clever man and brilliant presenter" !!!

He is completely hopeless, almost as hopeless as Tania.
One can only say that these people on the programme must have very thick skin to stay the distance. It beggars belief.

After months of forgetting about Mk I decided to have another look - SHE`s STILL THERE !!!! ie The wife of Ramsey !!
Has no one the guts to get rid of her ?

Plus - Why oh Why is Georgio Locatelli going on the xxxx programme ?

Would you please provide a statistical summary of the comments made on the message board. ie, How many comments FOR versus How many comments AGAINST the Market Kitchen debacle ?

I don`t suppose you have the courage to let us all know where it is so that the jeni brigade can come and give it a fair appraisal.

I have eaten in Brians restaurant and it was excellent. His recipes are also superb. I certainly don`t wish Brian to lower himself to appear on MK.

As regards Ainsley - he also is, in my opinion, a "B-list" chef and I wouldn`t be surprised if he did appear on MK, its just his style in my opinion.

The last week of MK did not show any sign of improvement - it should go and Jeni should return with her "A list" team of chefs.

I am also delighted that Atul won the regional stage of GBM at the expense of the Ramsey clone Stuart. Isn`t Stuart a twot !

jannymac - I suppose its a bit like drugs, they are not good for you but still keep taking them. Hoping that life will be better - however it never seems to !

I agree with everyones comments - the programme is dire!

Even the chefs are now getting worse, eg Bryn ???? - thank goodness we are only having the `B-list` chefs on this programme and that all the `A-list` chefs are in the wings waiting for the return of Jeni and a credible GFL replacement.

If I were in TR`s,TPB`s shoes I would be totally embarrassed about my own performance and the feedback that is posted on the message boards. In fact I would resign immediately.
Although it is not entirely their fault that they cannot present for toffee, it is that of the programme makers who have appointed them.
The two of them should have sufficient pride to resign !!
Can you hear TR and TPB ?

ps. I think the next recipe on MK should be `How to make toffee`, and see how they make a mess of that.

Many things annoy me about PB - one of the most annoying is his habit of saying Fantastic or Brilliant or Fabulous before his co presenter / guest have finished their statement or activity. Why does he do this ?

I cannot agree that he is or has the potential to be a good presenter. He is just a rich kid having a laugh and attempting to take us all for a ride!!

What can I say about Mattfort - he needs to leave the programme before his carrer is in tatters.
