Is anyone else fed up of following this boring and depressing programme? I for one have had enough of it. Please stop showing it on UKTV Food, it should be on a channel headed UKTV Depressed!

Oh God!! Don't mind Amanda Lamb, I think she's great, but boring Rachell Allen, she's too prissy for my liking, and she uses the word "and" too much.

Totally agree - every time this comes on I turn over, I don't think this should be on a food programme either. What a load of absolute rubbish.

I have not enjoyed MK so much as this week with Amanda, she has lifted the whole programme and she and Matt make a great team. More of her please!

Just thought I would post this as I made this last week and it split. I e-mailed Mike at The Pot Kiln and asked what went wrong, and he replied and said the recipe should have said double cream not single. Just in case anyone else wants to make it. It was otherwise very tasty indeed and we still ate it.

I agree babsky - I didn't like him when he did his show about sourcing all his food from around London, and I haven't enjoyed watching him on Market Kitchen either. I also agree that Tom is the best one to watch out of all the presenters (even if he is a glutton), and yes Tana should stay at home with her kids. As for Diana Henry I wish she would go back to Ireland and stay there! I do like Mathew and Tom together though they play each other off, which is very refreshing. Mat is definitely getting easier to watch also.

If you mean his signature dish called Tomato Chili Jam, I don't know which of his books it is in but I have a book called "The Cook's Book" by Ted Smart which is marked at £30 but I am sure you can get it cheaper. Its a fantastic book with lots of recipes and different techniques for preparing and cooking. It is in there as I have made it and its fab. Hope that helps. Chrissie

There are a lot of fish currys in the recipes section of this site, but a nice one I saw was on Nigella's programme so you may be able to find that one, I think it was with coconut milk.

I would rather have Mat any day. TPB is just a glutton. Watching him stuffing himself is just not on. You would have thought he would have been brought up with more manners than he has shown, especially today (Tuesday). At least Mat eats with manners!!!

I think it serves him right for what he did to Kim. She certainly did the right thing waiting for him to be in Aus and then closing the business down, I would have done exactly the same. Good on her.

I agree with you both. It is a good programme WITHOUT TANA AND DIANA HENRY. The rest of the presenters are great esp Matthew, Tom and Matt. Must be a girl thing!!!

Oh rrab I wish we could, but I don't think them up there will ever listen. I really do miss watching her midday, its like there is a massive void. I really loathe MK especially when dear Tana is on there. She is so annoying.

I have just had a Jeni hit - I watched the video clip of James Martin's tea smoked chicken and it is a clip from GFL. Ahhhhhh those were the days!!!

Oysterman - I wouldn't look toooo forward to seeing Food Poker - its absolutely rubbish and the presenter is awful, knows nothing about food and shouldn't have the final say when its a draw. This is another ill-thought-out food programme and should be shot just like MK.

Nora - I don't know how you can ask that question. Rhodes is the most annoying, picky little person. He treats everyone around him with disdain. He was bad enough in India and now he is doing it again here. Please please get rid of him for good. I can't bear to watch this awful programme.
