I live in a country where availability of ingredients is limited so I need advice on substitutes if anyone can help please...........
If a recipe call for 'Allspice', will 'Mixed Spice' do the same job?
Also, I have a recipe asking for wholemeal self raising flour, which is unavailable to me, so how much extra baking powder should I use, given that the recipe already asks for 2 teaspoons of baking powder to 450g of wholemeal self-raising flour?
Any advice would be very welcome..........thanks!
