Hi - I have a couple of questions here -

Firstly, pork butt - is that a US name, or is it also known by that name here in the UK? I've heard it referred to as pork shoulder too, but is that correct? Where would I buy pork butt? I want it for my bbq smoker. What's the price like?

Secondly, beef brisket - where can I get this? Is it expensive? I want to have a go with this on the bbq too.

Thanks

Yes pork butt is the shoulder, but the top part of it. Brisket is a cheaper cut of meat, but is normaly used in braised or slow cooed dishes.

Thanks for confirming that.

Where is the place for me to buy these cuts of meat, and what should I expect to pay?

Thanks
