does anyone remember a tv cookery programme in the 80s i think, it was set in the 20s, a guy, maybe french, preparing a 3 course meal in five minutes or so...?

this was a 15 or 20 minute show. it was set in a 1920s apartment very art deco. the two or three courses would comprise of veal or chicken escalopes for main with a perhaps a slab of cheese for desert...it was as simple as that. it was filmed as though the host /chef was cooking in his apartment and was always joined at the end by a guest who knocked on his apartment door. the chef / actor, spoke in a french accent. No idea who he was.
