hi i placed an order with Merchant Gourmet on there web site as i had done before as they do feww post if you spend over £25 pounds a few days after placing my order i recived an email telling me that as i lived in northern ireland i would have to pay an extra £19 pounds for delivery we are in the uk are we not and the feww post covered my previos order yet again an other big company discriminating and treating northern ireland customers like second class citizens its such a pity as there goods were good value for money to cook with but i will not be buying from again

We run an online food business too but unfortunately that is the price our couriers charge us. We recently got quoted over £50 to send a few kgs to Jersey. As we'd already quoted a smaller surchage we honoured it but we now can't do over the sea deliveries due to costs of couriers. Perhaps you should start a NI franchise of an online gourmet food business...! Dionne
