what is animal protein? is it meat/poultry/fish?

i know i sound really silly but i was reading a health report and it said that i should eat a diet rish in diary and animal protein, as a vegetarian i don't really know what this means but i have to find out

i was just wondering if anyone knew about cassava yams and if anyones knows where you can buy them? any help on this subject would be appreciated. Confused
