As a child living in the north east of england, my mother used to ask the butcher for the 'izal' cut of beef for our Sunday roast. Do you recognise this name or know what its more recent name is? Perhaps its known by a different name in other regions.

fresh brazil nuts

Does anyone know why we no longer see fresh Brazil nuts (in their shells) in the UK.
