I's say it depends how late you want to eat lunch.
if it's more than the immeadiate family and you're eating late I'd recommend a continental hotel style brekkie, put out plenty of cereals and milk, a tray of bacon, toast, pancakes, scrambled eggs, maybe a few tattie scones and plenty of fresh fruit.
if you're eating at lunch time and you've not got any allergies or whiners to deal with then go with braces suggestion, scrambled eggs with smoked applewood chedder and smoked salmon served on hot croissant with crispy sweet cure bacon on the side is my fave way of doing it, but I'll bet everyone here has a different way of doing it.
