I know what you mean. I have noticed that nobody from the Nottingham area seems to win either!!!

Just keep trying as the old chestnut goes "you've got to be in it to win it" - I'm still hoping that santa will deliver something nice from a competition win but think my rose-tinted specs are on the blink

I won an IPOD this month on another website, so dont give up, you'll be overjoyed when you win something cool x

Ive been entering internet comps for 5 years at about an average of 50 a month, won a tracey island and an Italian Job DVD
But I'll keep trying

I've entered most comps on here I just wish that up to date winners list were shown, but just like DSBGabriel I will keep trying

I have 'done' every day on the advent calendar and nothing at all, so it's the luck of the draw, you've either got it or you haven't. It's fun though eh!!

I was just coming here to say the same thing...I 've been doing them for ages and never won anything on here, etc etc., ...but then.....
a little box in the corner of my screen e-mail ! Well being someone who can't wait to see what junks come in today, off I popped to hotmail, and, and, and ..... Yes!!!! I won something, on this site.... A Weekend Break for 2, to a Scottish castle and travel included ...... whoohooo....
Sorry to be soooooo excited, but we had a rubbish Christmas and New Year, so this is really lovely, to lift us up and hopefully get 2006 off to a better start

i won the casio digital camera and it was the first one i entered! sorry to be smug

Many people find the best way to win is to enter competitions that have tie-breaks - the " finish this sentence in 15 words as to why chummy pet food is great" - becuase the more effort yopu put in, the more likely you will win. With competitions like these - it's just random as to whether you win. Nearly all the comps I have won have been because I wrote a good tie-break. Good luck dudes, after me, of course!

Personally, i'd like to see how many of the winners were website entrants. it would be quite easy to ignore website entries seeing as they dont phone or text in making the site money. but then i'm a paraniod soul! lol

ive just started entering these comps if only 2 win the dwarf stuff but who knows who these winners are theres never an up 2 date winners list.anyway goodluck 2 all

Coolkama - rest assured that, if we run a competition across red button as well as SMS and web, we don't ignore web entries!! When we pick a winner it's always completely random. In fact, more than half the competitions that we run are just for web (for example, of the six competitions on the competitions page of the website, only two are being run on web and red button) and only a tiny handful throughout the year are available on SMS (red dwarf being the most recent).
BTW - we don't operate red button and SMS to make a profit, but rather to cover costs.

Tommy - we'll try harder to keep our Are you a Winner? list up to date!

Bluerat - we're going to look to do more tiebreakers for competitions run specifically on Gold and G2.

UK Style user - we've got nothing against Nottingham!! It's just the luck of the draw.
