Just finished watching series 1 on DVD and in the commentary by jan Harvey she said about a Howards Way tour you can go on, does anybody know if this is still running? and where did they use to go and visit?, i'm really intrigued whether its still going, it would be great nostalgia and also good for the people who never got to watch the original series on television.

I have been to the Jolly Sailor pub, last summer, which you think you get to along a path by the river but it is a road right above the pub and a steep walk down a path and up again so not good for the elderly. Lovely view across the river though.

Have just pre-ordered series 5 DVD from Amazon looking forward to it arriving.
If you hear of a specific tour please let us know, I have friends down that way and would love to go on one when visiting next.

I'm still trawling through the internet to see if anything comes up about any tours.
Perhaps in a couple of years time it is going to be the 25th anniversary of the first series of Howards Way perhaps they may sort something out from there, isn't the Elephant (mermaid) boatyard near to the Jolly Sailor? did you get to see that as well?.

Can't wait until release date for series 5, hopefully by the time its out i would have caught up with the rest of the previous series!!
