Does anyone know why the saturday night screening of Doctor Who have been stopped?. As this is the best chance I have of watching the episodes it is dissapointing to see that the last 2 weekeds and the next 2 weekends there is no Dr Who in the saturday night scedules.
Will they return and carry on after The Brain Of Morbius at any time in the near future?.

I don't know for sure but I doubt it. Seeing as the current Weekday showings look to be ending after The Robots Of Death. Not sure why they are not at least showing The Talons Of Weng-Chiang prior to stopping it or even why they have to stop it again.

@DrWho001: Sorry, if this might seem like a stupid question, but how do you know, that they will stop with Robots of Death?
Anyway, it's a pity, they have stopped the screenings on weekends, and also, that they have only the one showing per day now. You only get one (okay, two) chances of watching it now.

@Beron42: I have Digiguide which is a program which has TV listings.
They have The Robots of Death concluding on Tuesday 1st April @ 5pm. Wednesday @ 5pm is Waiting For God. There is no sign of Doctor Who returning at the time in which there current listings for Drama go up to, which is the end of April.
Now whilst I appreciate we are not at mid March yet and there is still time for someone at UKTV to wake up and decide to give us what we want.
I have enjoyed the couple of storys so far I have not got on DVD or VHS and I am looking forward to The Face of Evil and was looking forward to Underworld and The Sunmakers & The Invasion of Time (although the later is out on DVD in May).

If they were doing only a limited number of stories why would they not have done a poll to decide which adventures from the Baker era fans wanted to see?. Ok we know the probable reason behind the Dalek stories.
But that aside, if UKTV Drama never intend to screen them all why show them in the original broadcasted order?. As there were some poorer stories they have screened over those better ones they could have screened.

The only other thing that has crossed my mind is that Series 4 (well sorry but to me its Season 30) is rumored to start on BBC 1 on the 5th April.
Its therefore entirely possible this is a break whilst the new series airs, and that it will return in July when it has concluded.

I e-mailed them about it a few days ago but I've not had a reply back yet. I really hope they show them becaues I don't get a chance to see them in the week.
