Could anyone let me know the name of the remixed track which is played between programmes. I initially thought it was by OMD or the Joy Division

It's certainly a version of A Forest, originally by The Cure on the album Seventeen Seconds. I believe this bossa nova version is by Nouvelle Vague from the album Nouvelle Vague Vol.1 (2004). I managed to track down a copy on Amazon.
