I have some burning questions that weren't answered by the program.
How many modifications to car designs have been implemented to protect *pedestrians*? Particularly infant pedestrians, child pedestrians and teen pedestrians?
How many modifications to car design have been implemented to protect people in *other vehicles* for that matter?
I suspect the answer is that people don't want to think about their car being a really efficient and effective deadly weapon - so, not that many.
It's like the whole thing about child safety. Umm. We don't want to think about you, you know, dying or getting hurt. So we're going to figure out how to protect ourselves from injury and death... but, um. not you.
Because we love you so much.
Right.
