I'm a 17 year old little girlie, yet I'm slightly obsessed with Top Gear, all my friends think I'm a little weird - the only reason they watch it is that the fancy Richard Hammond, you see. Yet I love cars, unfortunately despite having been old enough to drive for quite a while now I can't - lessons are so expensive!!!
Anyway, Top Gear rocks and now the new series is being repeated on Dave, I can watch each episode 3 times! (this was the whole point of the message and it took a whole paragraph to get it out!)
oh, and Richard Hammond is quite good looking, I suppose.

Well, tonight was the just about the best episode of Top Gear there has been but I was disappointed to see that you had cut out large chunks of what was an extended episode. Some one of which, the scene in the garage where "The Boys" come over, were completely gone. Have to say, really annoying

Adverts are somewhat annoying too, on BBC shows it's a bit disorientating.

I, in fact, do fancy Richard Hammond, but I watch Top Gear because it's also one of the best comedy programs on telly right now. I don't drive and I don't really give a monkey's about cars, but I've always loved the show.

I may be daf I admitt, but one of the thingys I gone know is that they nead money, though is annoyin ...so, well nothing but keep that in mind...it's not late but know I'll go to sleep with hopefully a dream about chicken's.

Lessons are a bit on the expensive side, but having a car is the best thing ever. I would look more into how much insurance it would cost you as mine was astonishingly high when I first started to drive.

I have to agree with other folk....The American episode of top gear on saturday is the funniest and best episode ever! IF YOU MUST EDIT THINGS THEN PLEASE EDIT YOUR ADVERTS! you not only cut out the bit with everyone getting attacked by the good people of alabama but you also edited the bit with them getting the cow off the car and Jeremy and Richard nastily breaking james' air-con!!!
In future (if this can indeed make any difference) can I ask that you play the whole episode of hour long programmes and (if you must) extend the playing time to 1hr 15 in order to fit in the retched adverts!

I absolutely agree there. I'm watching the American episode again now and I can't believe how much they're cutting out. It's xxxx silly.

I enjoy that episoid too, but... I wonder if it's fake... a real put off, but I still like it.

yeah, the part of the america episode in the petrol station probably was faked a bit, but hey it was still hilarious. Have you seen the new Africa episode yet? one of the funniest things ever, I love how Hammond named his car "Oliver" - best name ever!
The cutting it to fit the ads is just stupid, they extend Question of Sport, so why not Top Gear? It's better...

Yeah that African episode were class! I think the only reason the VW Beatle did good were because it were'nt driven into a lake or anthing like that! The cow made me flinch though... they shouuld hve less adertising on Top Gear if that's what thay do to A Question Of Sport.

I enjoyed the Africa episode immensely. I nearly coughed myself to death from laughing with a cold!

I don't care how many of their escapades are faked, it makes for darn good telly and who can complain about that?

Firstly, I agree about the adverts on Dave, its a shame the content of the program suffers to allow adverts to be inserted.

I don't like adverts, who does, but I understand that without them, we wouldn't get "Free to View" telly so I put up with them.

But, if we have to have edits, why do they cut the best bits!

BUT I HAVE SKY! AND I STILL GET STUPID ADDS ON MINE! WHY WORKERS SUFFER?!

I have to agree (though i don`t really want to) with others on here regarding the commercial breaks, make the programe l o n g e r ! it`s the only solution!

PinkTribble and Steadward.... the African episode was on Dave? i thought it was on BBC2, i saw it on BBC2 , i`m sure!
That Beetle did go everywhere, yes! everywhere! they are truly remarkable little cars!

It's the same channel whether you have Sky or not! They can't omit the ads for Sky viewers and not for Freeviewers!

Ads I can deal with, cutting out bits of shows is inexcusable.

The ONLY programme on TV worth watching in my opinion...

SKY viewers pay, so there should be another type of Dave with our money. But I still think you Freeviewers should still do without these daft adverts.

I must say that I am in favour of the television licence, as without it, we would not have top quality tv such as practically everything on Dave!!!

I always think it's amusing when people say that they would rather not pay for a licence and have adverts. Yet people are quite willing to pay for Sky/Virgin etc which has loads of advertisements throughout every program.

I hate adverts. I don't want to be told to buy something and I deliberately not try to buy things that have been advertised. Nor do I buy "labelled" clothes, as I should be paid to wear them for their advertising!!

I know I'm starting to rant now, so I'll stop.
