It's very very good. Maybe Dave should apply the same formula & personnell to Dakar, etc. The time difference thing is annoying... but if you think a rally finishes at c3pm (local time) and the last footage from the stages & podium still has to travel back to HQ to get processed & edited, if the event is GMT -5 hours, that's already 9pm UK time before they can even start transmitting it. Luckily, all the future 2008 events are GMT or East - where time difference is +GMT - so all 11 events for the rest of the year should be at 6pm as promised!! I found Neil on facebook page here (i'm not a stalker Cheeky...)

dull and boring? hardly any action?? you must have been watching another programme mate, because the rally show from sweden sunday night was one of the best pieces of WRC telly I've seen for years. About twice as much action than in the Monte Carlo show, but also some excellent guidance from the presenter, good informal interviews... and, bemused_rally_fan (bless!), i think you'll find Mr Cole and his "arsing about" (!?) is already helping Dave's viewing figures to increase. So, if you don't like it, don't watch it... I know that everyone I've spoken to loves the show, and word is spreading, so it can only help rallying to generate new fans.

I am shocked; i specifically logged onto this forum to congratulate Dave on a great job with the Monte-Carlo show, and everyone's xxxxging it off?! Confused
I am a lapsed/casual motorsport fan, and I thought the coverage brought me right back into the sport. I was entertained, plus I really got the sense of what WRC involves these days. And the presenter fitted right in with the channel... there was "witty banter" as well as genuine rally insights. Keep up the good work! Smile
