I am writing with concern over some facts given in this episode.
It was stated that the Audi Quattro won the World Championships for drivers and manufacturers in 1983, when in fact Lancia won the manufacturers title in 1983 with the Lancia Rally 037.
It was also stated that since the introduction of the Audi Quattro no two wheel drive car won the World Championship again. Audi won the championship in 1982 and 1984, while, as mentioned above, Lancia won the championship in 1983 with the two wheel drive 037. In 1984 Lancia didn't fully contest the championship because they concentrated their money and resources on the development of the Lancia Delta S4, which won on it's debut appearance at the 1985 RAC Rally with a 1-2 victory. It then went on to win the 1986 season opener at Monte Carlo.
I think that if a programme professes to be an authority, or a flagship on a subject, then there is a duty to issue correct facts.
